The Beacon™ Chest Seal is an advanced occlusive dressing designed to
treat open chest wounds. Beacon™ Chest Seals are specifically designed
with a medical grade hydrogel adhesive strong enough to adhere to skin
that is exposed to blood, sweat, hair, sand or water. Regular size combo pack contains 1 vented chest seal and 1 non-vented chest seal to accommodate entrance and exit wound, allowing for air and blood drainage without allowing air in. If only an entrance wound, use the vented seal. If both an entrance wound and an exit wound, we recommend using the vented seal on the front of the body, and the nonvented on the back, because with the back pressed to the ground or a gurney, there will not be much venting happening. These chest seals protect against tension pneumothorax, a common cause of mortality on the battle field. *Fits in the when folded.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
