Floating the heel above the bed, this protector efficiently safeguards against heel pressure wounds. Features include durable straps for foot drop support, a two-inch heel lift to effectively isolate the heel, and a spacious opening for optimal ventilation and convenient patient monitoring. Crafted with a breathable nylon exterior, the protector allows for the effective dissipation of moisture and heat. Furthermore, its Ortho-Wick inner-liner enhances moisture management, ensuring patient comfort and care. Conveniently machine washable, it's recommended for patients susceptible to heel pressure injuries, skin deterioration, and friction burns. It also meets the CA #117, Section E Flame Retardancy Standards for fire safety.
