The Butora Icarus is built both for the backcountry and the casual strut around town. Thanks to it’s NEO Fuse sticky rubber sole, the Icarus provides all the wet and dry traction needed for scrambling boulders and scree fields to hiking down muddy trails. Durable comfort comes from a suede upper that is joined with more friction rubber heel and toe randing for the best all around approach shoe performance. Some of the features found on the Icarus include:

NEO Fuse sticky rubber outsole with integrated braking
NEO Zone flat climbing surface
Breathable sewn mesh tongue to prevent debris entry
Dual grab loops for easy on/off
360 degree NEO rubber randing
Suede upper

Sizing Advice: Most customers find that the Icarus fits well when sized up ½ size above street shoe. Please bear in mind that street shoe manufacturers sizing varies widely, so this is just a suggestion based on what we see the most.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
