Features ROM hinges with malleable aluminum uprights offering full flexion and extension control with settings at 0º, 15º, 30º and 90º. Indicated following ACL repair, post total joint surgery, meniscal tears, patella realignment or during rehabilitation. Manufactured from plush foam laminate with hook and loop closures; reusable gel packs feature a soft fabric lining and non-toxic gel; includes two aluminum ROM hinges with plastic covers and extension straps. Replacement gel packs available separately.

Indications: Indicated for post knee arthroscopy, meniscal tears, osteoarthritis pain and swelling, and patellofemoral pain

Application:

Remove optional gel pack and place in freezer for a minimum of 2 hours (see warnings below).
Remove the gel from the freezer, re-attach gel pack, making sure seams line up over knee cap (patella) opening.
Grasp knee orthosis and locate top (note: valve located at the top) and place opening over affected knee cap (patella).
Secure compression straps to the desired fit.
Attach tube with bulb to the valve.
To inflate, switch to "ON" position, pump bulb to the desired compression, making sure not to over inflate. To deflate, press button at the base of bulb.
When the desired compression is attained, switch to "OFF" position and remove the tube with bulb from valve connection.
Note: May also be deflated by removing tube while in "ON" position.

WARNING: recommended cold therapy treatment; 20 minutes on the patient, 20 minutes off.

Care & Cleaning
Remove any metal stays if possible, close all contact closures and hand wash in warm water with mild soap. The product should be air-dried, do not use high temperatures to wash or dry.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
