It features a prominent emergency stop button and patient safety tether that, when used, will eliminate freewheeling by locking the belt for 45-seconds. The 22" running belt is the widest in the industry, enabling users to feel steady and confident during their tests.

For optimal flexibility, the TMX428CP can be operated in a diagnostic mode (interfaced with the stress computer) or a non-interfaced, independent mode. For those applications requiring occasional independent control of the treadmill, without use of the stress system, the TMX428CP model is an ideal choice with easy-to-use, programmable controller that can be operated in manual mode.
