The paper is red when it is in a neutral pH range, and it will change to different colors depending on the pH level of the substance. Litmus paper with a color chart typically has a range of 7.0 to 8.5, and it can be used to test both liquids and solids.

Litmus pH Testing Paper with Color Chart is used to determine if a solution is acidic, basic or neutral. This is determined, by dipping part of the pH paper into a solution of interest, and watching the color change.

Litmus paper, as its name implies, is primarily composed of paper. The paper used to make litmus paper must be free of contaminants that could change the pH of the system it is measuring.
Dip test paper into the test solution or wet the strip by contact with the test material. Remove the test strip immediately and compare the color of the strip to the color chart on the dispenser. The number associated with the color is the pH reading.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
