The CareFusion Alaris 8110 Syringe Pump and its accompanying modules are designed for facilities that utilize infusion and/or syringe pumps to deliver fluids, medications, blood, and blood products through clinically appropriate routes such as IV, IA, subcutaneous, epidural, enteral, or irrigation. This versatile system can be used for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, with up to four modules can be connected at once. The CareFusion 8110 Syringe Module is specifically intended for facilities that use infusion for the delivery of fluids, medications, and blood products through accepted routes such as IV, IA, or enteral. With its unique pressure sensing disc, the syringe module provides accurate monitoring of in-line pressure, shorter alarm times, and reduced delays, resulting in decreased chances of inadvertent bolus following occlusion release.Â
