INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Bed Position:

• Lying on your back in bed, position the Spil-Pruf® urinal against the genital area so that the urine stream will flow directly into the urinal. If you cannot bend at your hips and knees or have difficulty holding the urinal in place, you may attach two yards (1.83m) of rope cord to the handle, which then may be used to pull the urinal into position as needed.

Seated Position:

• Sit in a position that maintains a secure balance. Place the Spil-Pruf® urinal against the genital area so that the urine stream will flow directly into the urinal.

Standing Position:

• Stand in a position that maintains a safe balance holding on to a secure fixture with one hand if needed. Place the Spil-Pruf® urinal against the genital area so that the urine stream will flow directly into the urinal.

HOW TO EMPTY:

• To empty, grip the receptor spout and turn counter-clockwise. Clean thoroughly using a household disinfectant. For additional sterilization, the Spil-Pruf® urinal may be autoclaved at 220 degrees.
• To reassemble the urinal, insert the receptor spout into the container making sure that the vent hole is at the eleven o'clock position and turn clockwise until the vent hole is firmly set at the twelve o'clock position (watch video). Following this procedure will ensure that the Spil-Pruf® urinal functions as designed, providing a secure, spill-proof container.
