Curasorb Calcium Alginate Dressings for advanced wound care have a high calcium content that is released into the wound bed while removing sodium. This action prepares the wound for epithelization and help maintain a moist healing environment.

Wicks fluid away from wound

Can be used on:

Wounds with moderate to large exudate
Pressure Ulcers (Stages 2,3 and 4)
Tunneling Wounds
Infected and Non Infected Wounds
Full-Thickness Wounds
Red and Yellow Wounds

Contraindications:

Not for use on wounds with dry eschar or minimal exudate.

Application:

Apply the dressing dry and cover with a secondary dressing.

Removal:

Remove when strike through to the secondary dressing occurs.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
