BD 367324 Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Sets 23 Gauge x 3/4" with 12" Tubing is a device used to collect blood from a person. It consists of a needle attached to a tube. The needle is inserted into a vein and the tube is attached to a vial or other container to collect the blood. When the button is pushed, the blood is drawn into the tube.

The Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Set was created to prevent needlestick injuries amongst healthcare workers. This system is the only blood collection device with push button technology.

The push button technology provides immediate protection with the push of a button. The system is not hard to use with minimal training, increasing compliance. The activation does not cause any extra pain to the patient, it is ideal for high-risk environments.

The needle features in vein retraction, which reduces the risk of healthcare workers from being exposed to a contaminated needle. When the needle is placed correctly into the vein a flash visualization is seen to confirm access.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
