Unit Conversion
From Fahrenheit to Celsius
- While the device is off,press and hold "Ear" for 8 to 12 seconds until the screen show---℉
- Press ‘Ear’ Once more to change ---℃
- After seconds, the thermometer will be shutdown, then you can use in Celsius
Fever Alert
When measuring temperature in either of the two modes,the thermometer will sound 7 short ticks and the LCD display will flicker if the reading results exceed 37.5℃/99.5℉ to indicate that the subject may have a fever.
Forehead Temperature Analysis
Press and hold ‘HEAD’ while slowly scanning the entire forehead form one temple to the other. Make sure to keep the thermometer in contact with the forehead at all times while moving from one side at all times while moving from one side of the forehead to another.
Eardrum Temperature Analysis
- Remove the sensor plastic cover.
- Gently insert the sensor tip fully into the ear canal.
- Press the ‘Ear’ while holding the sensor in the ear canal.
Memory Recall
- When the thermometer is on standby,press and hold the "EAR" button for 4 to 8 seconds. The LCD screen will display"---M" with the "M" letter blinking.
- Press "EAR" once more and the LCD screen will display with a corresponding icon indicating.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
