This sharps system can be hung from a wall or medicine cart for easy access. Mounting the sharps container system approximately fifty seven inches from the floor helps prevent children or confused elderly patients from tampering with the system. Having the needles or syringes securely locked and fastened to the wall in high public traffic areas prevents any cross-contamination.
