Acyclovir Oral Suspension, USP 200 mg/5 mL is a prescription medicine that comes in a bottle. It is used to treat:

Genital herpes
Herpes zoster (shingles)
Cold sores

Acyclovir Oral Suspension, USP 200 mg/5 mL is not meant to be used to prevent herpes infections.
It is not known how Acyclovir Oral Suspension, USP 200 mg/5 mL works. It is believed to block the ability of the herpes virus to multiply.
Acyclovir Oral Suspension, USP 200 mg/5 mL is usually taken 4 times a day for 7 days.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
