The Ferno Universal Head Immobilizer (#0313855 / Model 445) keeps a patient's head stable during transport in emergency situations. The base plate of the immobilizer fits all Ferno backboards (except NAJO Sports Board).

The Universal Head Immobilizer is a soft, cushioned head restraint that is lightweight and consists of two plastic-coated, closed-cell foam head supports with ear holes, an attachment base, and two head straps. What makes this immobilizer unique is that it can be attached to all Ferno backboards (except the Sports Board), and the head supports can also be used on the Scoop Stretcher.

This immobilizer also allows for patients to undergo X-ray, MRI, or CT scans without interference. The waterproof coating is easy to clean, given its resistance to blood and bodily fluids. It also possesses a FMVSS 302 flammability rating.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
