Braun Heparin Sodium Injections are prepared from heparin sodium, which is derived from porcine intestinal mucosa and standardized for use as an anticoagulant, and Hydrous Dextrose USP in Water for Injection USP. Administered via intravenous injection, the potency of each injection is determined by a biological assay using a USP reference standard based on units of heparin activity per milligram.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
