Massive Bleeding Sub Kits  come boxed as standard components of the Tramedic Trauma Kits, and may be purchased separately. This very basic, yet sufficient duo was designed for public access, with the intention of stopping massive bleeding with a tourniquet and OLAES Modular Bandage. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE, AT LEAST HAVE THIS! It's a handy combination to have that will help you stop the bleed!  Watch the video describing the use of these components.

1)SOF® Tactical Tourniquet - Wide: The SOF®TT-W Tourniquet developed by US Army Medics, features a 1.5 inch compression band, high-strength light-weight alloy components, and a buckle interface that allows for rapid routing of the tourniquet strap. 

2) OLAES® Modular Bandage. The OLAES® Modular Bandage contains packing gauze in a hidden pocket, and is a phenomenal pressure bandage.  Features include: wound pad, elastic wrap, 3 meters of sterile 4-ply gauze for use in applying pressure or packing a wound, and a plastic occlusive sheet should you want to cover an open chest wound. The important feature is a transparent pressure cup that focuses pressure onto the wound site, allowing hands free pressure when the bandage is wrapped.
