MRI Non-Ferromagnetic Wheelchairs consist of materials that will pass through Ferromagnetic Detection Systems. The chair has been tested and certified to pass through pre-screen and pre-entry door systems. These chairs aid in the safety of your MR environment when used with entry screening systems. The storage pocket on the rear of the chair has "MR" prominently displayed, reducing the chance it will be confused with a standard magnetic wheelchair or be lost to another department. These chairs were designed to be used with Ferromagnetic Detection Systems.
Ferromagnetic Detection Systems Feature the Following:
- Reduces the risk of injuries and death
- Detects ONLY ferromagnetic materials
- Safe for patients with passive/active implants
- Indicates the location of the offending object right on the portal

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
