The Hand Fuser is an external irrigation system that is used when the implant equipment doesn't include a peristaltic pump or when additional irrigation is necessary during surgery. Regardless of the number of revolutions or working angle of rotating instruments, use of a Hand Fuser manual cooling system allows the clinician to access a smooth flow of cooling fluid. What's more, since it is an external system to the Physiodispenser, it can also be easily used to "wash" the surgical site and remove any liquids or blood that would prevent clear inspection of bone surfaces. The system is also suitable for irrigation during final stages of placing an implant by means of a dynamometric key.
