How it Works
A patented process blends the support collagen provides with the gel-forming capabilities of alginate, utilizing natural body polymers to create a sterile, absorbent and soft dressing that conforms to the wound bed.

Once in contact with the wound's exudate, the dressing helps to create a moist surface environment that assists with granulation tissue formation and epithelialization and allows the injury to heal at a faster rate.

Ideal as a primary dressing, FIBRACOL™ Plus Collagen Wound Dressing with Alginate can be cut to the wound's exact shape, layered to help deep wounds heal, and can be used with a semi- or non-occlusive secondary dressing.
