The ConMed Open Tip Yankauer Instrument (50 per Case) has a large lumen for rapid aspiration and resisting clogging. The open tip permits access to tight places. It removes fluid and debris from either a surgical site or body orifice (i.e. airway, abdomen, etc.).
Developed in 1907 by Dr. Charles Yankauer, the Yankauer Single Use Suction Instruments have become the most common suction instruments in the world.
