How the test works Test strips have a test area which contains reagents which change colour when the control solution is applies. The meter records this change in colour and converts this displayed result. Do not perform performance checks at temperatures below 18°C or above 30°C. Allow the test strips and control solution to reach a temperature within this range before use. Use a fresh test strip if the drop of control has not completely covered the test area, if several drops were applied or is a drop contained air bubbles. Do not touch the tip of the bottle
